WHO WE ARE
The Cavendish University Uganda (CUU) .E-Internship Platform. is a cutting-edge digital solution designed to revolutionize the way students and employers engage in internship placements. CUU, established in 2008, is licensed and accredited by the Uganda National Council for Higher Education. Our student-centric academic model deploys global best practices in teaching and learning, aimed at fulfilling our mission to transform and inspire students to reach their full potential in employment, entrepreneurship, and ethical leadership.
Through the CUU E-internship platform, we connects students and recent graduates with organizations offering both remote and physical internships matching. It allows users to create profiles, search for internships, and receive notifications of activities and plans. Companies can post internship opportunities, and if selected, the intern and company can collaborate. The platform offers features like virtual meetings, project management tools, and performance tracking. Upon completion, students or graduates may receive a certificate or other documentation to showcase their experience.

IMPACT
Our platform aims to bring together stakeholders involved in student internships, efficiently matching students and employers, and facilitating the transfer of employability skills. Over the course of this project, we aim to serve over 1,000 students, with the potential to reach 8,000 students within five years. Our standardized matching system will create better fits between businesses and student interests, benefiting both parties.
